Joe has been directly involved in the mortgage business since 1995.
Joe has a BS in Accounting and a Master in Taxation from Villanova
University. Joe practiced accounting from 1983 through 1989. From 1989
through 1995 Joe worked with his family in their business. Joe started
Benchmark Mortgage Inc. on February 1, 2001. The reason Joe started his
own mortgage company was to provide the absolute best customer service
for his clients. Joe is an expert in all areas of residential mortgage
financing. However, he is called on by Real Estate and Mortgage Professionals
on Condominium and Second Home matters. Joe is one the country's foremost
experts in Condominium and Second Home Mortgage Financing. Joe believes in
being available for his clients 24/7. He is available in the office seven

Gail D'Ambra
Gail is the office manager and the closing
coordinator. Gail has been in the mortgage industry since 1975. Gail
has been with Benchmark Mortgage since the beginning. Gail is available
to assist all of our borrowers with their closing matters. Gail assists
with scheduling closings, obtaining Title Insurance, Homeowners and
Flood Insurance and any other closing issues required by the borrower
and lender. Since your relationship with Benchmark Mortgage Inc. does
not end after closing, Gail is available to assist clients with any
post closing matters.
Kristy Pittaluga
Kristy is our mortgage processor. Kristy is responsible
for taking the approved file from Joe and submitting the loan to the lender. She
is also responsible for obtaining any underwriting conditions from the borrower
to insure a fast, smooth closing. Kristy has extensive knowledge in pricing,
rates, locks and rate lock extensions. Kristy has been in the mortgage industry
since 1999. Kristy is available to assist the borrower with gathering the
necessary items required to obtain a clear mortgage approval and obtaining the
mortgage commitment.
Dan Peters
Dan is the newest member to the Benchmark Mortgage
family. Due to the increasing need for representation in Atlantic and Southern
Ocean Counties Dan is our Loan Officer for these areas. Dan has a degree in
finance from Colorado College. Dan chose to play professional ice hockey after
college. Dan signed with the Philadelphia Flyers as a free agent and played
three seasons with the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL. Dan played one year
in Germany and played his final year in Atlantic City for the Boardwalk Bullies.
After a career ending injury Dan chose to utilize his college degree and come to
work for Benchmark Mortgage Inc. Dan is available 24/7 to take an application,
issue a mortgage pre qualification, lock an interest rate or answer any of your
mortgage questions.
Andrew Weis
Andy is a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore and is
an expert in financing area properties. He has been in the mortgage business
over 8 yrs and has closed more than $250 million in loans. Andy worked for the
largest teleservices mortgage company in the country before coming to Benchmark,
